Frequently asked questions

How long does the session take?
I reserve a full hour for each booking, but the session itself usually takes around 30–50 minutes. Sometimes we need a little time to settle in, and sometimes we already have everything we need sooner.
Who can book a Christmas Mini?
They’re mainly created with families in mind, but couples, maternity sessions, children on their own, grandparents with grandchildren or other small combinations are absolutely welcome too.
What if my child doesn’t want to sit still or smile?
That’s completely fine. I don’t expect children to sit perfectly and look at the camera for the whole session. We’ll work with movement, cuddles, play and whatever mood they arrive with.
What should we wear?
Choose something you feel good in and would like to see yourself wearing in the photographs. You can dress up, coordinate colours or keep it simple — the main thing is that everyone still feels comfortable enough to move and be themselves.
Will the greenhouse be warm?
The greenhouse will be heated, but the temperature can still vary with the November weather. Cold mornings may feel a little cooler, while sunny days can get surprisingly warm, so layers can be useful.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes. Dogs are welcome. Just keep in mind that you’re responsible for your pet during the session and for any mischief they may get up to. 😉
How do I secure my booking?
A €30 booking deposit is required to secure your date. It is part of the total session price and will be deducted from the remaining balance.
What happens after the session?
You’ll receive an online gallery where you can choose the photographs included in your package. If you fall in love with more than your package includes, additional images can be purchased for €10 each.
Can I buy more photos if I book Short Story?
Yes. Additional photographs can be added after the session. With Short Story, extra images are digital only. If upgrading to Full Story becomes better value, you’ll have the option to upgrade instead.
What if we need to cancel or change our date?
Please contact me as soon as possible. Moving to another Christmas Minis time depends on availability, as the sessions take place on a limited number of dates. You can find the full cancellation and rescheduling conditions in the Christmas Minis 2026 Booking Terms .
Is there parking and a toilet at the location?
Yes — both parking and a toilet are available on site.
